DJ Equipment And Lighting Here is a current list of the gear used by Cheshire DJ Jon Whaite for a premium package. As mentioned earlier you can have as much input into your DJs playlist as you wish but equally important should be the lighting your chosen DJ uses as these will form the backdrop to your event and will appear on many of the photographs taken on your biggest day. Do you want a classier feel or nightclub style lighting, is your venue in need of some colour, maybe uplighting will give the look you require, below are some examples of the lighting we use.



	Vestax VCI 100 DJ Controller. Replacing the traditional 2 decks and a mixer, the Vestax midi controller is the number one PC mixing tool on the market. Used together with a quality laptop and 1TB external hard drive its all the modern DJ requires to fill the dancefloor.
Speakers. Both our FBT Himaxx or JBL sets of speakers are active with 500-650 watt built in amplification, plenty for most venues.
	DMX Lighting Controller. This DMX mixer is used to make the lighting effects at your event come to life, all our lighting effects are controlled by the one unit.
Shure SM58 Wireless Microphone. Top of the range radio mic, very useful if needed for speeches as well as DJ use.
	Citronic MP3/SD Card Mixer. We carry this with us as a back up at all times, it's better to be safe than sorry.
LED DJ Lighting Effects programmed by a dedicated lighting controller.
2 x T Bar with 8 lighting effects on top and 2 light effects behind (ADJ Tri7 Flat Par Units). Our lighting stand skirts have been made specifically to hide the majority of the wiring and plugs used in a large lighting set up and also to act as a light effect in itself with Tri7 Flat Par light behind each skirt to add to the overall show.
American DJ Revo 4. Another big lighting effect to enhance the dancefloor with hundreds of pre-mapped patterns. Please click for youtube video.
	2 x American DJ Tri18 Flat Par Lights. We use 2 of these lights to give a wash of colour to the dancefloor. Each light has 18 superbright Tri-LED bulbs that can light up a large area with many colours.
Kam Starcluster Ultimate Laser. Superb laser effect light for adding firework type sparkly red and green shots of light during the main part of the night and ideal for the "first dance" at a wedding. Please click for youtube video.
	LED Starcloth. Great quality starcloth used to wrap around our DJ stand to hide any unsightly wiring and plugs. Giving the whole set up a clean tidy look.
Starball LED Light. This light is used to mimic a traditional mirrorball effect and is usually attached to each speaker stand.


	Chauvet Intimidator 300. We use 2 of these awesome lighting effect scanners to project funky patterns onto the dancefloor and across walls. Please click for youtube video.
2 x Scrim King Lighting Stand Covers. We use 2 of these to hide the unsightly wiring and plugs that are powering the light effects and with a light of their own behind them, they inturn act as a fantastic light effect.
	2 x American DJ Tri7 Flat Par Lights. We use two of these superbright Tri LED lights to light up the back of our Scrim King stand covers to great effect.
Swingfire DMX. For wider venues with low ceilings, this LED effect pans from side to side rather than the traditional up and down. Please click for youtube video.
	American DJ Dekker LED Light. To replace the Swingfire in larger venues we use this high energy lighting fixture that can produce a wide range of colours to cover the walls as well as the dancefloor.

	Water Effect Light. Used for washing a bare wall with a colouful rippling water effect. Very good for disguising a blank wall or marquee.
Specialist Gobo Projection To add a touch of class to the biggest day of your life. We now offer an elegent gobo projection service in addition to our disco lighting effects. We have many standard patterns available, ideal for highlighting a particular table, wedding cake or the dancefloor for your "first dance".
